Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian science Construction. Ancient Indian sages and rishis created Vastu Shastra for the welfare of the entire humanity. Its knowledge enables us to get benefits of mental peace, health, wealth, etc. and make our life happy. This science, after offering the rules of construction, goes to prove that by constructing properly our buildings, villages, towns, cities, shops, offices, factories and industries we can make ourselves prosperous

Vastu Shastra helps in making a suitable dwelling place which works in a scientific way to take the advantage of the benefits bestowed by nature. Vastu is an occult science or art which has its power and effects.

Vastu is the science of direction that combines all the five elements of nature and balances them with the man and the material. Vastu Shastra is creating agreeable settings or a place to live or work.

In the most scientific way taking advantages of the benefits bestowed by the five elements known as the earth, water, fire, air and sky of nature thereby paving the way for enhanced health, wealth, prosperity and happiness in an enlightened environment.

According to Vastu Shastra, the world comprises five basic elements known as the earth, water, fire, air, and sky. Out of the eight planets, ours has life because of the presence and balance of these five elements.

Our human body comprises of five essential elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Sky. Which are also the components of the Universe? The Vaastu principles also based on these five elements in their order of appropriate proportions. Each of the elements corresponds to a natural force that affects our lives.

They are-

Sky  (Akash)– the space is most expanded regarding spread and volume. The constant part of the universe beyond the earth atmosphere in which all the other planets and stars exists is known as space or Akash. It is also considered the primary conductor of all energy sources within the universal context –cosmic radiation physical energies such as sound and light, human energies such as psychological and emotional, and cognitive energies such as intellect and intuition.

Fire (light) – Fire contains heat energy and is the basis of all energy including solar power, atomic energy, thermal energy and human energy; natural light needed necessary for comfortable living.

AIR (Vayu) – the Pure fresh air was continuously blowing in and out of the house.  As a life-supporting element, air is a very powerful life source. Wind energy

WATER (Jal) –: Gravitational attraction of the Earth. Used for drinking and living-This is represented by rain, river, sea and is in the form of the liquid, solid (ice) and gas (steam, cloud). It forms part of every plant and animal. Our blood is mostly water.

EARTH (Bhumi) – Earth, the third planet in order from the sun, is a big magnet with North and South poles as centres of attractions. Its magnetic field and gravitational force have considerable effects on everything on the Earth, living and non-living.

The proper alignment means the good knowledge of all the eight directions. It is widely known that the direction from where the Sun arises is known as East (Poorva) and where it sets as West (Paschim) and when one faces the East direction, towards one’s left is North (Uttara) and towards one’s right is South (Dakshina). The corner where two courses meet apparently is more significant since it combines the forces emanating from both the directions. According to Shastras if we worship, revere and respect the Lords of these eight directions, they will shower us their blessings and benefits. Let us examine their importance according to scriptures.

Vastu is not a religion; it’s a science of setting the things correctly and balanced as per principles of five elements.

That is Earth (Prithvi), Fire (Agni), Water (Jal), Space (Aakash), and Air (Vaayu) to have the maximum benefits to  Living-healthy  Human Life forever.

Vastu does not belong to any religion, race, caste or creed. It serves only one religion, and that is humanity. Nowadays, when people want to construct a house or other building, they devote more time to minute details of the foundation, superstructure, comforts, look, appearance, etc.

Without going into detailed examination as to whether such a house or building will bring them prosperity, health, wealth, wisdom and happiness in the life paving the way for progress and peaceful living or not. Don’t worry if you have constructed your house or building without going into detailed examination as  It’s a mistaken belief that demolishing the existing structure or part of it is the only way to cure Vaastu defects.

If the house has already been built, then one should not worry about having to bring down the structure. Rather, turn deaf ears to anyone advising you to do the same.

A permanent Vastu solution could be as simple as painting a few walls or rearranging a few objects in the house and also ill effects of Vaastu defects can be entirely or partly removed by strategically using some devices and techniques. Such as; Mirrors, yantras– mantras, Chimes Lighting, Plants, Pyramids, Vaastu Crystals, Rudraksha beads, as suggested by the Vaastu experts.

If you are seriously interested in constructing or building your home or office, then you may read scores of books available in the marketplace, and many websites have also cropped up. The best solution will be to engage a Vaastu consultant if you have complete faith in Vastu Shastra.

So for the readers who want to need peace of mind, health and happiness must keep faith in the God who has created the whole universe, and he is omnipresent i.e. present everywhere in every direction no need to worry about the consequence of the ill effects of Vastu which they feel about their constructed house or building. He must keep his house spotless as the temple. As cleanliness is next to godliness, so one must not be limited to one’s personal self it must be extended towards the neighbourhood and environment, as cleanliness is the must for good health, and happiness also.

“The time is always right to do what is right.”
